MOMENTUM: COVIDecameron

MOMENTUM presents a selection of video works from its Collection. These works, re-contextualized through the prism of life at the time of Corona, reflect on our shared experience of a world affected by a global pandemic. They are a contemplation upon the poetry of the day-to-day as it relates to the changing world we inhabit. In the spirit of its medieval literary namesake, and with a defiant wink in the face of COVID-19, COVIDecameron gathers together video works by 19 artists from 12 countries around the globe, for an exhibition online. This exhibition of art from elsewhere provides a retreat from which to safely contemplate the world - a way of traveling without traveling. Moving images move us.
