Sympoiesis is inspired by Donna Haraway’s Staying with the Trouble. The film focuses on El Lago de Cuitzeo, Mexico’s second-largest lake, which is facing extinction due to urban development, land-use changes, fires, and neglect. Through this powerful visual exploration, the film highlights the ecological and social impacts of these forces, reflecting on the urgent need for action to preserve this vital natural resource.
