Melting Earth Redux

Our reefs, mangroves and rainforests are suffering the consequences of over-population, over-development and over-consumption. Our coasts are being bull-dozed and subdivided. Waterways are toxic with human waste. The fragile balance of this planets’ eco-system is tipping beyond repair causing devastating fires, floods, droughts, cyclones and earthquakes: the earth is melting. In this work, Tim Ellis fuses surreal landscapes of developmental progress with infinite fractal forms; commenting on the devastating long-term effects over-consumerism is wreaking on our delicate planet.
