Ilit Azoulay | Mousework

A random Google search led Ilit Azoulay to explore thousands of images of terrified women, and to identify similarities between living under lockdown and the oppression of women. In her project “Mousework”, the artist points to the role of photography in fixing social patterns, corrupting men, and creating conditions among women.
