A future in which the ocean has become acid due to carbon dioxide contamination of the atmosphere, thus preventing the normal growth of certain sessile marine organisms. The artist, together with biologist colleagues, study some species that inhabit the area of the volcano Roca Redonda, in the Galapagos, where the volcano activity naturally acidifies the water.
