Shahar Marcus, Dig (2020) “Dig” shows men frantically digging out heavy stones. It could be a ruined house after an earthquake or a bomb. But because we are not shown where or why this action takes place, it becomes a universal metaphor for the many disasters – natural and manmade – of our troubled times.
