Eiwan al Gassar Gallery presents Shua`aAl Muftah

Shua`aAl Muftah is a self-taught artist. After living in various places for twenty-two years, she returned to her homeland, Qatar. The local reality was comparatively different from her childhood. The rapid urbanization and the social and cultural changes of the country inspired her to explore, artistically, various topics such as the relationship between tradition and modernity and the Qatari cultural identity, to name a few.
