Sophia Pompery Speaks Out

In her works, Sophia Pompéry directs the gaze at seemingly everyday things and makes the special visible. The candle flame that casts no shadow; the water applied to floorboards that reflects a window shape, two popcorn flakes that seem to be equal in shape. Her conceptual work oscillates between installation, photography and video.
