Ania Soliman

Ania Soliman (Sfeir-Semler Gallery) is an interdisciplinary artist, based in Paris and New York. Born in Warsaw in 1970 to a Polish mother and an Egyptian father, she lived in Cairo and Baghdad before leaving for the USA, where she studied at Harvard and Columbia University. Soliman has a research-based practice and works across a wide range of media such as drawing, video, text, installation and performance.
