Simin Keramati: Tehran

Simin Keramati is a multidisciplinary artist working with social-political themes presented through painting, drawing, video art and new media. In this movie, Tehran, a woman wearing boots and all in black while exercising with rope in an evacuated studio space that creates an illusion of a cell. The sound of the rope hitting the ground adds to the sense of uncertainty and disturbance.
