Paolo Veronese was an Italian Renaissance painter. The Wedding Feast at Cana depicts the biblical story of the Marriage at Cana, at which Jesus converts water to wine. This masterpiece, a representation of the art of High Renaissance, emphasized human figures of ideal proportions, beauty and compositional harmony, as practiced by the artists Raphael, Leonardo and Michelangelo.
