Mounir Fatmi is a Moroccan artist. His art includes video, installation, drawing, sculpture and painting. Technology is a work inside a work because it links ancient circular Arabic calligraphy and Marcel Duchamp’s rotoreliefs, the first manifestation of optical art produced in the context of modern industrialized society.
