Eugene Henri Paul Gauguin was a French Post-Impressionist artist. He spent ten years in French Polynesia. A lot of artworks came from that period and Landscape with Peacocks is one of them. It was created in 1892 on the Pacific island of Tahiti. Like the rest of the works of that time, this masterpiece has an unusual color, made by applying the imposition of multiple layers of oil paint. Landscape with Peacocks is now in the Pushkin Museum of Fine Art.
