Katy Unger: Breaking Point

Katy Unger was born in Boulder, Colorado in 1981 and received her BFA from PNCA (Pacific NW College of Art) in Portland, Oregon. Applying blurred imagery, eroded surfaces, and layered media, her recent work investigates themes of impermanence, altered states and perception of place. Her work has been featured in exhibitions and publications internationally and throughout the US. She currently divides her time between creating from her home studio in Los Angeles and working as an Arts Educator.
