Paul Gauguin was a French Post-Impressionist artist. In this movie, a comparison between two of his masterpieces: Month of Mary and Fruit Gathering. The first one was produced during Gauguin’s second stay in Tahiti. It reveals the artist’s impressions of the exotic world of Oceania and ancient oriental cultures. It is now located in the Hermitage Museum in St. Petersburg, Russia. Fruit Gathering was painted in 1899 and is now in the Pushkin Museum in Moscow.
