“Barruntaremos (Inklings)” by Asunción Molinos Gordo opens a window into a disappearing form of ecological intelligence. In Spanish, barruntar means to sense something before it happens. Through the eyes of shepherd Pedro Sanz Moreno, one of the last guardians of the ancestral weather-reading practice Cabañuelas, the film invites us to sense the landscape the way our ancestors once did through intuition, relationship, and attention to subtle signals in nature. A moving call to rediscover the knowledge we are at risk of losing, and to listen again to the Earth before it is too late. Produced by TBA21 Thyssen-Bornemisza Art Contemporary
