Ricardo Pessôa de Queiroz, Founder

Rooted in a cultural philanthropic tradition, the Pessôa de Queiroz family has been supporting and leading the Usina de Arte project since 2015, transforming a former sugar cane factory into an Anthropocene art-botanical park, near Recife in the northeastern Brazilian region of Pernambuco. Proud of the thirty or so works already produced, Ricardo Pessôa de Queiroz, the founder of the project, tells us about it.
