David Szauder - Busó

In his Video ’Busó ’ (Mohács, Hungary,1967-2021) Szauder uses his grandfather’s 1960’s footage of the Busó festival. Whilst it remains largely unchanged, it is now deployed by the right-leaning government to celebrate nationalist ideals and values.
