Vivid Raft

In this immersive Slow Art video, Adad Hannah stages a living re‑creation of Théodore Géricault’s The Raft of the Medusa with students and locals in 100 Mile House, B.C. Over three months, they built the massive backdrop, rehearsed yoga‑like poses, and held still tableaux against a painted canvas exceeding 1 000 ft². The result: a quiet, uncanny moment where the human form breathes Géricault’s tragedy, despair, hope, endurance yet pulses with contemporary life.
