Enrique Ramirez: Day 14, Ocean Project

The Ocean project begins in 2010, as a Franco-Chilean production, with a clear objective: reminds one of the trips made in 1890 by the France I, one of the largest five-masted boats, hull and steel masts, of his time, and served the company as Dunkirk cargo between Europe and Chile. On his first trip he transported 5,000 tons of coal in Iquique, Chile to recharge 5500 tons of nitrate. In 1901, during a voyage to Valparaiso with a cargo of coal, France I experienced a severe storm. The crew abandoned the boat and was collected by the four-masted German Hebe.
